Week of the Sea – the first week of August, held annually
Asparuhovo Sings and Dances Fest, held annually on the Saturday of the second week of June. Traditional fest dating back to 1966 aiming to preserve Bulgarian folklore traditions. From 2004 onwards the fest will expand to Fish Delicacies Week in celebration of the traditional way of living of the people of Asparuhovo;
Galata Sings and Dances Fest, dating back to 1965, originally a sports events competition; Galata – Summer Sports Youth Fest of the early 1970s expanded to the current traditional fest, held annually on the Sunday of the second week of August. Holy Spirit Day, now celebrated for over half a century, originates from a legend of a spa where on Holy Spirit Day the eyes of the blind were said be cured.
Vinitsa Traditional Fest, held annually on 2nd May – Saint Anastasius Day, patron of the local church and the region;
Traditional Cossack (Kazashko) Village Fest – a traditional Cossack Village settled and inhabited by the descendents to Russians upholding the Old Christian faith.
Fisher’s Day, held annually within the framework of the Week of the Sea related to the traditional way of life of local population.
Anniversary of the Liberation of Varna from Ottoman Rule held on 27th July
